What Can I Sell?
Household Sales
Household items including quality furniture, chests of drawers, beds, cabinets, dining furniture, bedroom furniture, three piece suites, china, glass, metalware, tools, pictures, jewellery, collectables, books, tested electrical items, old & modern pine, domestic items etc
Items have to be in a good reasonable state. Any items containing foam has to have a current 1992 blue fire label. Beds, suites and mattresses have to be in good condition.
Any electrical items have to be PAT tested and will be charged to you – smaller items £2 larger items £4 – plugs £1 each
Antique & Picture Sales
Antique & Picture Sale items including good quality pictures, metalware, miscellanea, china, ceramics, glass, silver, gold, silver plate, jewellery, clocks, barometers, furniture and items of interest. – If valuations are required on your items, the office must be telephoned prior to your visit and an appointment will be made with the Auctioneer.
Collector Sales
Collectors Sale items including good quality books, postcards, cigarette cars, paperwork, stamps, coins, medallions, banknotes, mining and sporting memorabilia, scientific instruments, toys, models, medals, badges, weapons and militaria. – If valuations are required on your items, the office must be telephoned prior to your visit and an appointment will be made with the Auctioneer.
When Can I Bring The Items For Sale?
Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm
And Saturday Mornings 9am – 12 noon
*(Fridays are not available when we have a specialised sale)
What Commission Do I Pay For Selling?
A standard rate across the board of 15% + Vat at the current rate + 1% for insurance
Do You Provide A Collection Service?
No – all items must be brought either by yourselves or telephone the office for the number of a carrier.
